Ashton Kutcher and NCIS lead Mark Harmon are among US TV's highest-paid stars.

Kutcher is currently the highest-paid comedy actor, earning $750,000 (£478,377) per episode of Two and a Half Men, reports TV Guide.

NCIS lead Mark Harmon tops the drama list, making $525,000 (£334,864) per episode.

Jon Stewart is now the highest-paid late night host, earning $25-$30 million (£16-£19m) a year on Comedy Central's The Daily Show.

Judy Sheindlin is the best-paid star on television, making $47m (£30m) a year for her syndicated daytime show Judge Judy.

Other big earners include Homeland actress Claire Danes with $250,000 (£159,459) per episode, Harmon's NCIS co-star Michael Weatherly - also on $250,000 - and Game of Thrones favourite Peter Dinklage on $150,000 (£95,675).
