Roger Ashton-Griffiths has been cast as Mace Tyrell on Game of Thrones.
The actor will debut as Mace - father of Loras (Finn Jones) and Margaery (Natalie Dormer) - in the HBO fantasy drama's fourth season.
Game of Thrones creator George RR Martin revealed the casting news in a new blog, calling Ashton-Griffiths a "fine British character actor".
The 56-year-old's past credits include roles on Torchwood and The Tudors. He will also play Alfred Hitchcock in Nicole Kidman's forthcoming Grace Kelly film biopic Grace of Monaco.
Ashton-Griffiths joins new cast additions Mark Gatiss (Sherlock), Indira Varma (Luther) and Pedro Pascal (The Good Wife).
Author Martin recently defended Chilean actor Pascal's casting as the dark-skinned Oberyn Martell, the Red Viper.
