Former Cheers star John Ratzenberger has signed up for a guest role in Bones.
His guest appearance comes in an upcoming episode where Bones (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) cover a case at a couple's retreat.
Ratzenberger will play a man who attends the retreat with his wife, but who is also harbouring a dark secret.
It will form the second episode in season nine of Bones, reports Entertainment Weekly.
Ratzenberger is perhaps best known for playing loveable postal worker Cliff Clavin in Cheers, and also recently appeared in Drop Dead Diva.
He famously voiced Hamm the Piggy Bank in the Toy Story series as well.
