Ken Marino has become the latest star to confirm his involvement in the Veronica Mars movie.

The Party Down actor will reprise his role as aspiring private eye Vinnie Van Lowe in the film, which has been part-funded by a Kickstarter campaign.

The 'veronicamarsmovie' YouTube account posted a video of Marino in character as Van Lowe to announce the character's return.

He joins fellow Veronica Mars veterans Kristen Bell, Jason Dohring, Max Greenfield, Percy Daggs III, Chris Lowell, Amanda Noret, Sam Huntington, Tina Majorino and Krysten Ritter.

Charisma Carpenter recently told Digital Spy that she does not expect to appear in the film as her Veronica Mars character Kendall Casablancas.

"They have [had flashbacks in the past] but I haven't heard from [series creator] Rob Thomas, so I don't know if that's going to happen," the actress said.
