Disney+ show Goosebumps is almost upon us, and now you can check out the first trailer.

Adapted from the iconic RL Stine stories, which oozed with slime and unleashed horrifying scarecrows, the latest serial adaptation features Justin Long – last seen fleeing a crazed Neanderthal in the hit movie Barbarian as a possessed English teacher freaking out a load of high school kids.

Zack Morris (EastEnders), Ana Yi Puig (Gossip Girl), Miles McKenna (Nocturne), Rachael Harris (Lucifer) and Isa Briones (Star Trek: Picard) co-star.

"The series follows a group of five high-schoolers who unleash supernatural forces upon their town and must all work together – thanks to and in spite of their friendships, rivalries and pasts with each other – in order to save it, learning much about their own parents' teenage secrets in the process," reads an official Goosebumps synopsis.

In the brand-new footage, fans can get a flavour of how Stine's distinctive creepiness has been recreated for a modern audience.
