Ted Lasso season 3 spoilers follow.
Ted Lasso is back for season three, but, unfortunately, Roy Kent and Keeley Jones are no longer together.
When we last saw the couple at the end of season two, Keeley declined Roy's invitation to spend six weeks in Europe with him so she could concentrate on starting her new PR company.
Roy initially thought this meant that they were breaking up, but Keeley suggested he simply enjoy the holiday by himself.

The season-three premiere finally confirmed the status of their relationship, and it turns out that Roy broke up with Keeley.

When the pair sit down with Roy's niece Phoebe to discuss their breakup, Keeley tries to explain to an upset Phoebe that they're just taking a break, but Roy insists that their relationship is over.
This revelation was a blow to viewers and star Brett Goldstein alike, with the actor (who plays Roy) telling Decider: "As a fan, I love Roy and Keeley. I am devastated. Iām with Phoebe all the way. Awful. Horrendous. Devastating. No, thank you." We wholeheartedly agree.

Meanwhile, Nick Mohammed, who plays Nate Shelley, has suggested that Ted Lasso could continue beyond season three, despite Jason Sudeikis recently saying that the new season might be the last.
"I feel like the writers were really open at the start and said that in their heads they'd mapped out three-season arcs," Mohammed told Entertainment Weekly.
"But that doesn't mean that it definitely has to come to an end. There's no reason why it couldn't continue. So, we'll see. I hope there's more, but who knows."
Ted Lasso seasons 1-3 are streaming now on Apple TV+.
