Fashion Star producers met with members of the stagehand union IATSE on Monday (October 15) in attempts to end a strike.
As many as 70 crew members shut down Fashion Star's weekend taping by picketing outside the studio for a contract that guarantees health and pension benefits.
Fashion Star is a non-union production, but does in fact hire some union employees to work on the series.
Producers apparently met with union representatives on Monday afternoon, but an IATSE spokesperson told The LA Times that no new contract has yet been agreed.
IATSE representative Vanessa Holtgrewe said: "Since we do not have a contract yet, there will be picketing at the same locations [on Tuesday].
"The crew is eager to go back to work with health and pension benefits but won't return until a contract is signed."
