Netflix has confirmed that Wednesday will return for a second season.
Confirming the news via their official Twitter account, the streaming site posted a brief teaser alongside the announcement.
Speaking about the renewal in an interview with Tudum, show creators Alfred Gough and Miles Millar said: "It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world. Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season two.
"We can’t wait to dive head first into another season and explore the kooky spooky world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first."

The renewal comes just days after speculation that the show would be leaving Netflix for Prime Video, following the news that Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer (MGM) had closed an $8.5 billion (£7.06 billion) merger in November 2022 with Amazon – leaving fans wondering if the MGM-produced series would be moved across as part of the deal.
Netflix seemingly responded to the rumours earlier today, posting a clip from Wednesday's finale episode, which sees Ortega's character write 'The End' on her typewriter before adding a question mark.
Wednesday is streaming on Netflix now.
