Pedro Pascal's upcoming show The Last of Us has confirmed its release date following an accidental leak.

Earlier this week, eagle-eyed fans noticed how the HBO Max app listed the show for a January 15 release on its landing page. Prior to the leak, the streaming platform had only said it would debut at some point next year.

It's now been officially confirmed the series will premiere January 15 on HBO in US, while UK viewers will be able to watch it from January 16 on Sky Atlantic and NOW.

Each instalment will be available at the same time as the US premiere each week at 2am and on demand thereafter.
