Marvel is working on a spinoff of WandaVision.

The last we heard of Paul Bettany’s Vision, he was all-white, had lost all of his memories and then disappeared after the explosive events in the finale of Marvel’s foray into TV: WandaVision.

At the time, Vision’s future in the MCU had not been confirmed. Wanda was already slated to make her appearance in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness. We all knew we’d see him again, we just didn’t know when. Until now.

Because Deadline has reported that a spinoff series starring Paul Bettany as Vision is currently in development at Marvel Studios for Disney+, which will be called Vision Quest.

This show, which will start its hunt for a writers room next week, will focus on The Vision trying to regain his memory and humanity. There is also potential for Elizabeth Olsen to reprise her role as Wanda Maximoff for this series.

What to Read Next

Just like the other WandaVision spinoff, Agatha: Coven of Chaos, which brings back Kathryn Hahn as Agatha Harkness, this series will also be overseen by WandaVision creator, writer and executive producer Jac Schaeffer.

If you remember, the so-called White Vision was created by SWORD at the end of the eighth episode of the show by recreating and reassembling the dead Vision’s body, and he was sent to Westview to destroy Wanda and the fake Vision that she’d created.

In episode nine, they have a huge battle, during which the fake Vision scans the memories of White Vision, detailing all the events that have happened in the MCU, right up to his death at the hands of Thanos in Infinity War.

After this, White Vision declares “I am Vision” before swooping out of the sky and disappearing. It seems like this series will pick up after this moment.

However, we might not have to wait too long to see another WandaVision character on our screens as Teyonah Parris is set to reprise her role as Monica Rambeau in The Marvels, which comes out next year.

WandaVision season 1 is streaming on Disney+. The Marvels has a release date of July 28, 2023.
