Former Daredevil boss Steven DeKnight has reacted to the character's return in She-Hulk: Attorney at Law.
Charlie Cox made his long-awaited MCU TV comeback as Matt Murdock on this week's (October 6) episode of the Disney+ series, appearing in a case against Jennifer Walters (Tatiana Maslany).
Taking to Twitter, executive producer DeKnight noted how it was a "lighter take" on the character than the original Netflix series, though praised it.

"It's a lighter take, and I'm absolutely here for it," he tweeted. "Just like in the comics, there are many ways to explore the character. And as long as Charlie's in the suit, I'll be watching."
She-Hulk boss Kat Coiro previously teased a more "playful" side to Daredevil in the series, telling Digital Spy: "There are lots of surprises. Daredevil, you know, I think we'll get to see a more playful side of him than we've ever seen."
The character is set to return again in new Daredevil series Born Again on Disney+, which was unveiled at this year's Comic-Con. The show is due to premiere in 2024 and will consist of 18 episodes.

DeKnight previously confirmed that he was not involved in the reboot, calling it "bittersweet" – though added: "But all I want is [a] great Daredevil show I can watch with the rest of the fans!"
Former showrunner Erik Oleson also reacted, saying: "Thrilled to learn that Daredevil lives on! Best cast and best fan base EVER!"
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is streaming on Disney+, with new episodes premiering on Thursdays. Daredevil seasons 1-3 are streaming on Disney+. Daredevil: Born Again is due to premiere in 2024.
