Twilight's Billy Burke has said he would welcome a return to 9-1-1: Lone Star.
He began portraying Captain Billy Tyson in the Texas drama two years ago, making waves by antagonising Rob Lowe's Owen Strand, before winning him over in later episodes.
Last seen in season 3, he even helped Judd Ryder's wife Grace with the birth of her baby.

"They left the door open and that was fun – that guy was despicable and lovable at the same time, I don't know how we pulled that off," Billy, who's currently starring in new CBS drama Fire Country, recently told Hello.
"I don't know if I will have time [to return to the character] but sure, I would always go back and do it if I was invited."

Elsewhere in the 9-1-1 universe, Oliver Stark, who plays Buck, has responded to the season 6 premiere, where his character was passed over to be Bobby Nash's temporary replacement as Station 118 boss.

"I do think it's too early for him to take up that kind of role," Stark said. "Then, alongside that, Buck has such a close mentor-mentee relationship with Bobby that he maybe thought, through some kind of nepotism, even though they're not actually family, he might have a leg up there.
"But it's definitely something that's going to go beyond just the first episode.
"He has this lovely talk with Bobby at the end of the premiere that is really going to stay in his mind over the next few weeks and then we're gonna see how that affects his decision-making."
9-1-1: Lone Star airs on FOX in the US and on Sky Witness in the UK.
