Kristen Stewart and Steven Yeun's post-apocalyptic romance movie Love Me has unveiled a first trailer.
The film, which is the directorial debut from Sam and Andy Zuchero, stars the two actors as a "smart buoy" and a satellite who meet online long after humanity's extinction.
As they learn what life was like on Earth with only the internet to guide them, they discover what it means to be alive and in love.

The trailer introduces us to the robots in their original forms, with Yeun's satellite informing Stewart's smart buoy that he's there to get her "connected" through the internet.
As they learn about humanity, the pair use AI and digital avatars to mirror a YouTuber couple named Deja and Liam.

The robots soon start to find a sense of self, with Stewart's character Deja stating: "I’m not even a buoy anymore. I am just me."
"We’re becoming who we are," replies Liam.
"Love Me's whimsically philosophical, shape-shifting structure ingeniously weaves together the real, the virtual, and the surreal," an official description for the film reads.

"Its star-crossed, web-paired metallic protagonists - inhabited in different forms by Stewart and Yeun - awkwardly navigate romance and companionship, equipped only with untold petabytes of archived web data, social media, and online videos.
"Awash in these mediated experiences and fabricated expressions of love and identity, they yearn to understand who they are, whether their feelings are real, and for that matter, whether they are real."
Elsewhere, Stewart is next set to star opposite Oscar Isaac in upcoming vampire thriller Flesh of the Gods, with the pair playing a couple who "descend each evening from their luxury skyscraper condo and head into an electric night time realm".
Love Me releases in US cinemas on January 31. A UK release date is yet to be confirmed.
