Grey's Anatomy star Kate Walsh has announced her engagement to Andrew Nixon.
The actress revealed the happy news during an Instagram Live on Wednesday night (October 5) with her Private Practice co-star Amy Brenneman, where they were discussing the medical drama's 15th anniversary.
"Here comes the jungle cat, that is my fiancé," she said as her Australian partner walked into the room.

"She just 100 percent outed your engagement!" replied Brenneman, to which Walsh added: "I did, I just outed our engagement."

Walsh reportedly met her husband-to-be on a cruise in early 2020. The pair now share a home in Perth, where they spent lockdown together during the height of the pandemic.
Nixon is part of a family farming enterprise called Nixon Farming in the Moora/New Norcia region of Western Australia, where they run Merino sheep as well as rotate wheat, barley and canola.
Walsh is set to reprise her role as Dr. Addison Montgomery in season 19 of Grey's Anatomy, which premieres on ABC in the US today (October 6). UK viewers will be able to watch the latest season on Disney+ from October 26.

Addison will first appear in episode three and then intermittently for the remainder of season 19 as part of an ongoing story arc.
Walsh's return isn't the only cast re-shuffling this season, as Meredith Grey actor Ellen Pompeo has taken on a smaller role and will only appear in eight episodes.
Meanwhile, five new interns – played by Harry Shum Jr, Adelaide Kane, Alexis Floyd, Niko Terho and Midori Francis – have joined the cast.
Grey's Anatomy returns for season 19 on October 6, airing on ABC in the US. In the UK, seasons 1-17 are streaming on Disney+, while season 18 is available via Sky Witness and NOW.
