America’s Next Top Model judge Janice Dickinson has spoken up in defence against the harsh critiques on the show.
In a video posted to the reality TV judge’s Instagram account, we can see her address a question about whether she regrets any of the comments she made on the show after it recently faced backlash on social media for being extremely harsh on its contestants.
“Um, no. It was acting. And that’s that,” she said in the video before elaborating in text, writing: “People forget that TV is acting.”
Tyra Banks, who was one of the most popular judges on the show during its 24 year long run, addressed the criticisms in 2020 after numerous clips resurfaced on Twitter.
