Jeopardy!, the long-running US gameshow, has announced its Celebrity spin-off is coming to primetime, with a line-up of recognisable faces taking on the famous board.

Taking part are Shang-Chi and the Legends of the Ten Rings' Simu Liu, Arrested Developments' Michael Cera, Fresh Off the Boat's Constance Wu, The Irishman's Ray Romano, Whose Line Is It Anyway? host Aisha Tyler, The Office US' BJ Novak, The Sandman's Patton Oswalt, WNBA's Candace Parker, and comedian Iliza Shlesinger.

Interestingly, Oswalt actually played Jeopardy! creator and talk show host Merv Griffin in Funny or Die's Donald Trump's The Art of the Deal: The Movie in 2016.

The Big Bang Theory's Mayim Bialik will host the entirety of the celebrity specials, which premiere on September 25. The regular editions will also return in September, with alternate host Ken Jennings taking the reins until January, when Bialik will take over.

Bialik also hosts the Second Chance and Tournament of Champions editions, while also working on her sitcom Call Me Kat, which returns for its third season in September. In short, she's a very busy lady.

A few months back, Bialik opened up about how people were so quick to criticise her hosting, stating: "It's probably the only profession that I can think of, or maybe politicians, where people will tell you deeply insulting things but with a big smile."

Jeopardy! and its spin-offs all air on ABC and are available to stream via Hulu in the United States. Unfortunately, the shows aren't currently available to watch in the United Kingdom.
