Big Sky has cast Ray Donovan star Rosanna Arquette in a recurring guest role for the third season of the show.
Arquette will portray Jenny Hoyt (Katheryn Winnick)'s fast-talking and charismatic mother Virginia 'Gigi' Cessna, a "world-class scam artist who used childhood Jenny in her grifts, much to present-day Jenny's resentment" (via The Wrap).
"Gigi has an uncanny ability to charm her way into people's lives and then disappear without a trace. When she returns to Helena to pull her latest con, Jenny catches onto her and the mother-daughter must work through their difficult relationship," the synopsis continues.

The show follows a private detective named Cassie Dewell (Kylie Bunbury) in Helena, Montana, who teams up with a former cop (Winnick) to solve a kidnapping case.
The third season is set to star The Boys' Jensen Ackles as Beau Arlen, a newly appointed sheriff who joins the above-mentioned cast members to help maintain order in town. But when a local backcountry trip goes sideways, a new mystery awaits them as they cannot trust anyone.
Recently, Big Sky underwent an exciting title change for season three. Now it will officially be called Big Sky: Deadly Trials.

Just last month, Jesse James Keitel, who plays Jerry Kenedy on the show, spoke exclusively to Digital Spy to talk about the show as well as her future on it.
"Scheduling is definitely a bit complicated. But we'll see. I love Jerrie, and I love Big Sky. There's definitely some story to tell there. But I'm excited to be in the Queer as Folk cinematic universe, and to tell some stories that I'm really excited to tell," she said.
This could mean she might have a reduced role or be absent for the third season of Big Sky while she films her other show.
Big Sky returns for season 3 on September 1, airing on ABC. The show streams on Disney+ in the UK.
