Big Sky season 3 has been fitted with a new subtitle ahead of its September premiere: Deadly Trails.
This update revealed itself in the US crime drama's teaser trailer (which you can watch above), which Reba McEntire's newcomer Sunny Brick narrates.
"In the untamed wilderness, you never know what's gonna be coming around the bend..." she warns.

For the uninitiated, the Montana-based series centres on Cassie Dewell (Brave New World's Kylie Bunbury), her ex-partner undersheriff Jenny Hoyt (Vikings' Katheryn Winnick) and sheriff Beau Arlen (The Boys' Jensen Ackles) as they attempt to maintain peace in the state's town of Helena.
Meanwhile, just last month, Jerrie Kennedy actress Jesse James Keitel suggested that her commitment to Queer as Folk may result in a Big Sky season 3 absence.
"Scheduling is definitely a bit complicated. But we'll see. I love Jerrie, and I love Big Sky. There's definitely some story to tell there. But I'm excited to be in the Queer as Folk cinematic universe, and to tell some stories that I'm really excited to tell," she said during a Digital Spy exclusive.

Title changes are all the rage this year, with HBO's anthology True Detective also recently announcing that season 4 would be known as Night Country.
Oscar-winner Jodie Foster has been cast as the big-name series headliner, with boxing world champion Kali Reis joining her for an Arctic murder-mystery.
According to a synopsis, their investigators Liz Danvers and Evangeline Navarro must "confront the darkness they carry in themselves and dig into the haunted truths that lie buried under the eternal ice".
Big Sky returns for season 3 on ABC on Wednesday, September 21, while a UK release date on Disney+ is yet to be announced.
