Marvel's new She-Hulk: Attorney at Law trailer has confirmed the origin story of Tatiana Maslany's character Jennifer Walters/She-Hulk in the MCU.
In the new featurette released by Marvel on YouTube, Maslany explains how her character becomes the big, green superhero, revealing: "Jennifer Walters is an attorney who has accidentally taken in the Hulk's blood and has become [the She-Hulk]."
The new trailer also gives us insight into the kind of show this is going to be, as we get to see glimpses of Jennifer breaking the fourth wall, just like she did in the comics.

"There is something so surreal and so funny about a giant six-foot-seven Hulk in the courtroom," says Marvel head Kevin Feige.
"It all has this tongue-in-cheek self-referential thing going on,” adds Mark Ruffalo, who is set to reprise his role as the Hulk in this show.
"In the comics, she broke the fourth wall and was super meta," says writer and executive producer Jessica Gao. And we can look forward to seeing her do exactly that in the show as well.

At the 2022 San Diego Comic-Con, Marvel unveiled an impressive lineup of films and shows to round out Phase 4, 5 and 6, officially calling it the Multiverse Saga. They also dropped another She-Hulk trailer at that panel, which featured Charlie Cox's Daredevil making another appearance in the MCU after we saw his lawyer alter ego Matt Murdock in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Speaking of Daredevil, the superhero was announced to be getting his own 18-episode long show, titled Daredevil: Born Again, on Disney+ in 2024. He will also appear in Alaqua Cox's upcoming Disney+ show Echo along with Vincent D'Onofrio's villainous Wilson Fisk aka Kingpin.
She-Hulk: Attorney At Law will stream from August 17 on Disney+.
