Black Bird is set to become one of the year's biggest crime dramas that is a must-watch for any true crime fan, and the highly anticipated series has now premiered on Apple TV+.
Taron Egerton (Kingsman) stars as Jimmy Keene, a decorated high school football player and policeman's son who is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum-security prison without parole, but he cuts a deal with the FBI to enter a maximum-security prison for the criminally insane in an effort to befriend a suspected serial killer, elicit confessions and find out where the bodies of several young girls are buried.
Starring alongside Taron Egerton is Paul Walter Hauser (Cobra Kai), Greg Kinnear (The Stand), Sepideh Moafi (The Deuce) and Ray Liotta (Goodfellas) in his final filmed TV role before he passed away in May, 2022.

You can watch Black Bird on the streaming service Apple TV+. There are six episodes in total, with the first two releasing on July 8 and the rest releasing weekly on Fridays until the finale on August 5.
