Harley Quinn animates The Suicide Squad director James Gunn in the first trailer for season 3.
Around a minute in, the white-haired, bespectacled Gunn (also behind the three Guardians of the Galaxy movies) crops up on a film set where Clayface demands to be sat on while shaped in chair form.
The two then proceed to enjoy each other's vibrating bodies.

Elsewhere in the anarchic trailer, the Court of Owls initiate a "grand orgy", ruthless Task Force X boss Amanda Waller gets abducted, Batman massages Catwoman's feet, a wooden stake drives through an innocent's throat, and the mighty Swamp Thing makes his series debut.
A couple of years ago, Harley Quinn executive producer Justin Halpern was pressed on where the third season might take us, with his answer mostly touching on Harley and Poison Ivy's relationship.

"We spent two years digging into Harley, and Ivy was her own character, but her stories were told mostly in relation to Harley.

"I think in this third season, it'd be interesting to flip that, and dig deeper into Ivy and her life, and tell some stories through her point of view," he teased.
"So, we're excited to be able to do that because it feels completely new – somewhere to go that we haven't gone, that isn't going to make the audience feel like, 'We saw two seasons of that. What the f**k is this?'"
Adding to this, voice star Kaley Cuoco shared just last month: "Their relationship is the main focal point of this season, and it's hilarious and actually really, really sweet."
Harley Quinn season 3 will stream on HBO Max in the US from July 28, while UK fans can tune in over on E4.
