Snowpiercer season 4 will conclude the post-apocalyptic saga, it's been announced.
Transported to television from Bong Joon-ho's 2013 movie, which itself adapted the graphic novel Le Transperceneige, this series has brought together big names like Jennifer Connelly, Sean Bean, Daveed Diggs, and Mark Margolis for a deep dive into the class system within a dystopia.
Deadline reported that the cast's contracts were not renewed for a fifth season, much like the Mindhunter situation back in 2020.

"We can confirm that Snowpiercer will end after a successful, multi-season run on TNT," a spokesperson for the US network shared in a statement.
"Its talented writers, actors and crew took an extraordinary premise and brought it to life in thrilling ways. It was critically acclaimed, had a significant impact on the post-apocalyptic genre and now remains in the hearts and minds of fans forever."

Snowpiercer is just the latest TV show to be sent to the graveyard, with Riverdale (after 7 seasons), DC's Legends of Tomorrow (7), Batwoman (3), the Charmed reboot (4), Archive 81 (1) and Love, Victor (3) all receiving the same fate this year.
Addressing the latter's cancellation, Benji Campbell's actor George Sear commented: "I was really sad – honestly, at first when they were like, 'This is going to be the last one', I was gutted.
"But when we got on set, I think it just made me appreciate everything about it so much more because I knew it was the last one, and each script I got, it was like, we're really coming to the end now."
Snowpiercer airs on TNT in the US. UK viewers can catch up with each season on Netflix.
