Marvel series She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will feature Griffin Matthews in a recurring role.

"Never in my wildest dreams did I think I would join the Marvel [Cinematic] Universe!" Matthews said in a brief statement. "This was never a genre that I thought an actor like me (in my package) could fit into.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law is a female take on the Incredible Hulk, with the 30-something attorney grappling with single life, her high-pressured job and the fact she can lift a double-decker bus without breaking a sweat thanks to her superpowers.

Last month, we were finally given a trailer, which saw Jennifer being asked to lead her firm's new "super-human law division".

MCU fans will be pleased to learn that Mark Ruffalo reprises Bruce Banner for the 9-episode series, while The Incredible Hulk nemesis Abomination returns in the form of Tim Roth (he also popped in for a Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings cameo last year) and Benedict Wong is back as the Sorcerer Supreme.

She-Hulk: Attorney at Law will stream from August 17 on Disney+.
