P-Valley, the critically-acclaimed strip club drama with a female, black and queer focus, is returning for its second season in just over a month and a bit, ready to heat things up as we head into summer.
A trailer for season 2 has dropped, and while it doesn't tease too much in the way of plot, we can see that The Pynk is still in financial trouble and the rivalries are still burning as fiercely as ever.
What we do know about season 2 comes from various casting announcements revealing that Big L, Duffy and Derrick will all play bigger roles this season, as their actors – Morocco Omari, Dominic DeVore and Jordan M Cox respectively – have all been bumped up from recurring actors to series regulars.
Meanwhile, Psalms Salazar has been cast as a new regular character called Whisper.
New recurring characters include Coach's wife Farrah (Shamika Cotton) and someone called Big Bone (Miracle Watts).
Back when the first season dropped, star Elarica Johnson – who plays Hailey Colton and who previously appeared in EastEnders and Harry Potter – spoke exclusively to Digital Spy about why the show was so important.

"In the time we're in now, it's huge [to have this show on TV]. It is absolutely huge," she explained.
"I know a lot of people are going to have certain opinions of seeing women in a light that they don't think is good because of their previous preconceptions about that world – the stripper world – or even sex work in general. But it's hugely important because everybody's story has to be told.
"So yeah, we are showing Black women strippers, and we are showing Black men as trans or gay. It's shedding a light on something that is completely true, and these are real, real stories."
P-Valley returns to STARZPLAY in the UK and Starz in the US from June 3.
