P-Valley spoilers follow for season 2, episode 4.
P-Valley season 2 star Brandee Evans has opened up about filming those "scary" and "beautiful" sex scenes in episode 4.
As Mercedes, played by Evans, begins to recoup her lost earnings – which were stolen by mum Patrice in the last season – the stripper looks to other work alternatives to help fulfil her dream of opening up a professional dance studio in Chucalissa. This leads the dancer to offer out the 'Mercedes Experience' to Coach, with the approval of his wife Farrah (Shamika Cotton).
Fast-forward to episode 4, where an unsuspecting Mercedes is called to the marital home by Farrah through a message sent from Coach's phone, and things between the two women get very intimate.

Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy, Evans explained what it was like to film those sex scenes for the first time.

"You're the first one to ask me this, Shyvonne! You know what? I'm going to be honest. It was my first time as an actor, so it was very scary and very difficult, but very beautiful.
"I believe that when you have so many females at the helm of something that’s so sensitive and, you know, scary. It made it more comfortable, at least for me.
"As a woman, I can say it did make it more comfortable having my amazing directors there... Ciara was our director for episode 4, and she just made me so comfortable," the actress adds.
"We also had our amazing intimacy coordinator, Zuri, and I could not have done it without Zuri. I will say this forever, she was just a blessing to the show."

"And then, of course, Shamika Cotton, my sorority sister, made it comfortable, who plays Farrah, in those scenes. So when you just mash all that together, that girl power and that safety net that I had made it more comfortable.
"But it was scary."
Speaking on how empowering it was for her character Mercedes, the P-Valley actress added: "Yes [laughs]. She curious."
