The Celebrity Apprentice's next season could feature the return of some of the show's most popular contestants.

NBC executives have apparently approached host Donald Trump with the idea of pitting previous Celebrity Apprentice competitors against one another to crown an ultimate winner.

Former winners Piers Morgan, Bret Michaels and Joan Rivers will likely be approached by NBC to return for the all-star season, according to Page Six.

Gene Simmons, Lennox Lewis, Gary Busey, Sharon Osbourne, Jesse James and Dennis Rodman are also being considered by the Peacock Network.

Other stars expected to make the short list are Marlee Matlin, Marilu Henner, Trace Adkins and Omarosa.

Arsenio Hall won the most recent Celebrity Apprentice season over Clay Aiken. His success on the series led him to sign a new talkshow deal.
