Emily in Paris season three has already been confirmed by Netflix, which is a good thing as she's more Emily In A Serious Existential Crisis by the end of season two and, naturally, that's made her a completely addictive watch.
Whether you love it or love to hate it, either way, if you're reading this you've most likely binged it, and now we're all waiting patiently for news about season three's arrival.
After all, the Netflix show left things on a hell of a cliffhanger in season two, so we're going to need some answers.

(Let's not forget to mention the parade of eye-catching men who have been sweeping Emily off her feet or leaving her in a tailspin. She's been living a hard life over there we're not at all jealous of.)

Emily in Paris season 3 potential release date: When will it be released?
Good news! Emily In Paris season three has been confirmed – and a season four has been given the green light too! Can we get an Ooh La La?
More good news! Joyeux Noel people, because it's been confirmed that Emily in Paris season three will be returning to our screens just in time for Christmas, on December 21, 2022.
Naturally, this means a whole heap of awkward love stories, and more than our fair share of questionable fashion statements coming up over the next few years.
Netflix confirmed the news on January 10, 2022, less than a month after season two dropped.
In June 2022, lead star Lily Collins confirmed on Instagram that she was back in the French capital, posing in front of the Eiffel Tower in an appropriately loud coloured outfit, so we know filming is underway.
"Back(bend) in Paris! Can't show you too much of season 3 yet – so here's a little flashback for now! Lots of love from season 2…," she wrote.
She has since posted photos from around the city, including spotting a billboard of her Cartier ad in the street.
Ashley Park also shared photos of her with Lily as they wandered around Paris, captioning the post: "those Americans roaming Paris again yayyyyy!"
Emily in Paris season 3: Who will be back in Emily in Paris season 3?
Lily Collins, the show's leading lady and one of its producers, will definitely be back. After all, what's Emily in Paris without Emily... in Paris?
Also, the influencer's adventures around the French capital just wouldn't be the same without her best friend Mindy (Ashley Park) there to lend her some advice, or provide the soundtrack with her up and coming singing career. Considering Ashley has been sharing photos from Paris during filming, she will be there too.
Her will they/won't they romance with gorge chef Gabriel (Lucas Bravo) has also been confirmed to continue, so expect him, as well as Emily's unwitting love frenemy, Camille (Camille Razat).
But who else will pop up depends heavily on what Emily's decision was at the end of season two – so your guess is as good as ours.
If she chooses to join the rest of the now ex Savoir employees in their mass walkout, quit and become part of a new company, she'll be remaining in Paris, so expect more of her boss Sylvie (Philippine Leroy-Beaulieu), plus co-workers Julien (Samuel Arnold) and Luc (Bruno Gouery).
However, if she decides to remain at Savoir, considering she's literally upended her life for them and been given the promise of an upcoming promotion, expect a brand new host of characters.
This team will be spearheaded by Madeline (Kate Walsh), who flew over from Chicago to Paris in season two and well and truly put the cat among the pigeons by her lack of knowledge on French customs and demanding attitude that ultimately resulted in Savoir losing clients.
Then, there's that complication of Emily's dashing British banker boyfriend, Alfie (Lucien Laviscount). While they initially started out as casual lovers, by the end of the series it seemed that Alfie had grown quite fond of the Chicago native.
Unfortunately, after his work was completed, he got on a plane and headed back to London. But will he be tempted to return to Paris for her? And will she even be there if he does?
We do know that Lucien has been bumped up to a series regular, so alternatively, it's possible that Emily could sack off both Paris and Chicago, take a risk and decide to make a break for a new life in London.
During an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon back in March, Collins was asked what she made of the online petitions from fans who want Emily to travel to different cities- and she wasn't opposed to the idea.
"Honestly, I would go all over the world with it, if I could," she said. "But the one thing is, like, I just want to go to streets where you can wear flats — because wearing heels, I mean, you wouldn't think how painful that can be in Paris.
"I actually literally went to a podiatrist every week to fix my feet because I was wearing heels all the time," she added, noting: "I had to have, like, insoles made for every pair of shoes."
Producer Darren Star has also confirmed that season three will take Emily and Co to some new locations outside of Paris.
"We're always thinking about how we can show Paris," he told Variety. "It's not hard to make Paris look amazing, because it is, from wherever you look or wherever you point the camera. We will always want the story to drive locations. but we have some some really beautiful locations lined up for season three in France, not just in Paris."
Star went on to say that despite Emily's "always wanting to do the right thing," the increasingly complicated love triangles she finds herself in "makes his brain pain to think about," though he remained mum on any other details for what season three would entail.
Emily in Paris season 3 plot: What's going to happen?
Emily in Paris season three might be filming, but we still don't know too many plot details including the result of that big decision.
"She has reasons to pick a number of doors at the end of season two, and our challenge is deciding which of those doors she's going to choose and why. That's what season three is going to be about," creator Darren Star told TVLine.
"When you live in a foreign country, one of the questions is, where's your heart?" he added. "Is it the place you came from, or the place you are at the moment? Emily is going to be struggling with that as well."
At the end of season two, Emily found herself with a big decision to make about the future of her career. Does she embrace life in Paris, or keep her ties to her big job opportunity in Chicago?
Whatever her decision is, this would steer the way for Emily's future... or if she remains in the French capital at all.
Turns out Paris has had an effect on her – and she finds herself torn when Sylvie hands in her notice at Savoir, with the rest of the team quitting alongside her. Sylvie later proposes Emily join them in her new team having become attached to the bright and bubbly social media manager.
But Madeline, her boss from Chicago, is eager to keep Emily on her side too, telling her she can work her way up the company, and promising the promotion she's been fighting for since before even coming to France.
While making this decision, Emily realises she's in love with Gabriel, despite finding romance with British banker Alfie.
This is convenient timing, seeing as Alfie has now returned to the UK after completing his work there (something unspecific to do with Brexit, we're told). But despite the long distance, Alfie wants to make things work. Will she give her new love a shot?
Ultimately, she knows where her heart lies – with Gabriel. But in somewhat less convenient timing, it seems the discovery was too little, too late for her burgeoning relationship with him after running to his apartment.
Finally admitting she loves him, despite repeatedly telling him to move on and get back with Camille, Emily was left upset when she discovered… Gabriel has moved on and got back with Camille.
Emily pretends she's happy, but is an awful liar, and soon flees to have an emotional moment on a bridge as she reflects on what to do with her life.
In the final seconds of season two, she's seen calling Sylvie with her answer, but the show cuts to black before we hear it. Guess we'll find out soon enough what she says.
Whatever happens, Lucas Bravo has teased that there are plenty of twists in store for us.
"It's pretty self explanatory. What made this show successful will be in the next season with more twists," he told Digital Spy.
"Everything is just amplified. I feel like Darren [Star] went a bit crazy with writing this season. He's living with us and writing as we shoot so he's getting inspired by our own lives, and the things we say, and the places we go to, and he just injects the Darren Star magic bubble in the middle of all that and it just goes sideways," he added.
As for whether Gabriel will be making more omelettes? Yes, he will.
"I will make a lot of omelettes. I actually got a lot of pans delivered in the mail. I got like more than 100 pans. I gave pans to all my friends and family. I wish the main instrument for Gabriel was something I can sell," he joked.
No matter what happens, the fan favorite elements will all be in place. "More love triangles, more drama, more laughs, more fashion, more locations, more France!" Lily Collins told Entertainment Tonight of what fans should expect from the new episodes.
Of course, the runaway success of the show means that it’s already been signed off for a fourth season by Netflix, which means that Collins expects "a lot of cliffhangers" during the third.
And she should know. Collins has been promoted to producer for the new season, and she’s had an absolute blast in her new role as a total girl boss.
"It's been incredible," she said. "I've learned so much and I'm super grateful for the team to inspire me to continue voicing myself and owning my ideas, and it's been a dream job."
