Hawkeye is currently dropping new episodes on Disney+, but that doesn't mean we can't get some exciting news about the upcoming Secret Invasion series.
As reported by Deadline, Cobie Smulders will be reprising her role as SHIELD agent Maria Hill, having previously appeared in Captain America: The Winter Soldier, Spider-Man: Far From Home, all four of the Avengers movies and the canon Agents of SHIELD.
She'll be reuniting with Samuel L Jackson's Nick Fury in the series, which is about the secret group of shape-shifting Skrulls that have been hiding out on Earth for years and are ready to unleash their sinister plan.

The series has been teased so far in the post-credits scenes of Far From Home, which showed Captain Marvel characters Talos (Ben Mendelsohn) and Soren (Sharon Blynn) on Earth pretending to be Fury and Hill, who are out in space. Mendelsohn has been confirmed for the series, while Blynn hasn't been so far.
New stars joining the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the show include The Crown's Olivia Colman, Peaky Blinders star Kingsley Ben-Adir and Game of Thrones and Solo: A Star Wars Story's Emilia Clarke.

Secrecy is the name of the game surrounding the show, with Clarke saying she's not allowed to reveal anything about it, and thinking she herself is being watched to make sure she's keeping schtum.
"The first people I spoke to from Marvel were their security team," she revealed, "and I'm convinced there's a man outside my house — there's been a car parked there for a long time — and I swear to god, he's undercover.
"I actually live in fear that something is going to happen, and I'm going to say something, and they'll get upset."
Secret Invasion is expected to hit Disney+ next year.
