Kevin Hart and Wesley Snipes' new miniseries True Story dropped on Netflix yesterday (November 25) and it features a surprise cameo from a huge Marvel star.
The drama follows Hart as a world-famous comedian The Kid looking for an escape, after a night with his brother (Wesley Snipes) leaves the duo scrambling to cover up a murder.
Its second episode sees none other than Chris Hemsworth appear as the lead in a superhero blockbuster. Sound familiar?

Hemsworth seems to play a fictionalised version of himself, given he also rocketed to superstardom as Thor in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Eric Newman, the creator of True Story, said the cameo was only possible because he was already working with Hemsworth on his upcoming Netflix movie, Escape from Spiderhead.
"I was making the movie with Hemsworth at the time in Australia," Newman explained to Insider. "Interesting fact: that was the first footage we shot of True Story. We were shooting Spiderhead and I asked if he'd do it and he said, 'Absolutely.'"

Snipes is actually also an MCU alum, having starred as Eric Brooks, AKA Blade, in the 1998 Blade movie. The vampire anti-hero's role has since been taken over by Moonlight's Mahershala Ali in both Netflix's Luke Cage and Eternals.
True Story is available to stream now on Netflix.
