The Walking Dead: World Beyond has revealed its first season 2 teaser and return date.
The TWD spin-off held a Comic-Con panel on Saturday (July 24), during which it was revealed the show's second and final season will return to AMC in the US on Sunday, October 3.
A two-minute teaser clip, subsequently shared to Twitter, picks up from the season 1 finale and sees Will Campbell (Jelani Alladin) reveal to Felix (Nico Tortorella) and Iris (Aliyah Royale) that the Omaha University commune is no longer.

World Beyond viewers have known the university's grisly fate since the season 1 premiere following its massacre by the Civic Republic Military, the same organisation responsible for the taking of Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln).
During the Comic-Con panel, the show's place in the confusing TWD universe timeline was also confirmed.

World Beyond season 2 promotes Alladin to a series regular alongside Percy actor Ted Sutherland and Joe Holt, who portrays Iris and Hope's father Leopold Bennett.

"As the world is expanding on this show, we have a growing cast of characters that I am so excited to have for season 2," said World Beyond showrunner Matt Negrete.
Cobra Kai star Gissette Valentin will appear in season 2 as a new World Beyond character Corporal Pierce.
The Walking Dead: World Beyond season 2 will premiere on Sunday, October 3 on AMC in the US. You can stream the series on Amazon Prime Video in the UK.
