Netflix has unveiled the first trailer for the final season of German thriller Dark and revealed its premiere date.
The series was a surprise hit when it landed on the streaming service in 2018 and the final season looks like it has plenty of mind-bending twists to excite fans.
Dark's third and final season will drop on June 27, which fans of the show will know is the date of the apocalypse as revealed in season two.
The trailer features key characters Jonas, Martha and Bartosz, and tells fans: "The end is the beginning, the beginning is the end." It ends on the message, "The final cycle begins," which then changes to "The final cycle ends."
Showrunner Baran bo Odar announced last May that that show had been renewed for a third and final season.
"And it's official! We are working on Dark Season 3. It is the final cycle of this great journey," he wrote on Instagram.
