The Mandalorian's Pedro Pascal discusses his character's future and Star Wars movie crossover

The Mandalorian spoilers follow.

The Mandalorian star Pedro Pascal has opened up about the prospect of his character surviving the Star Wars series, and if he'll ever cross over onto the big screen.

Pascal's titular character is still alive in the Disney+ series (as things stand), though the actor's characters have had a tendency to be killed off in other shows in the past.

Speaking to Digital Spy and other media about whether Din Djarin could meet a similar fate to the likes of Game of Thrones' Oberyn Martell of Buffy the Vampire Slayer's Eddie at some point, Pascal confessed that "everyone" is in danger.

"Oh, God, I have no idea, and I think it's such a dangerous world he navigates in that, of course, everyone’s in danger," he said. "And especially since [Game of Thrones and Buffy] have set the tone for those kind of shocking surprises. Who knows?

"Star Wars has its own set of rules, for sure, but anything is possible," he added with a laugh.

Pressed on whether the Mandalorian could ever appear in a Star Wars movie, the actor continued: "I have no idea, you know?

"Sometimes there are things that have a size to it that it keeps you from thinking past the very present of what you're doing. So it’s just not something that I can wrap my head around."

Well, we'd certainly love to see Djarin's gun-slinging antics on a cinema screen.

During his chat, Pascal also revealed a unique challenge with working alongside the Baby Yoda puppet while making the show.
