We'll have to wait a little longer to find out who killed Ghost in Power, but until then, we have our first look at spin-off Power Book II: Ghost to tide us over.
As Power's sixth and final season continues, the drama's executive producer Courtney A Kemp has been teasing what fans can expect from Power Book II: Ghost, revealing an exciting glimpse at Mary J Blige's new character, Monet.
Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, Kemp explained that Book II will build on the "very strong female characters" of Power, describing Blige's Monet as a partial foil to Omari Hardwick's Ghost.

"For Mary's character, we use all the power and presence of the actress to communicate how this is a woman who is remarkable and unique in her abilities," she said. "She's as smart, savvy, and strategic as Ghost ever was, but her learning doesn't come from books.
"We always said Ghost was a bookish kid who read all the time. This woman's acumen comes from the street."
Kemp went on to promise that as well as "a bunch of new characters", Power Book II: Ghost will feature some familiar faces from the original show – and the themes will be very much the same.
"It will definitely have a lot of the same elements that you're used to from Power in terms of criminality, sex, romance, and the legal system," she said. "Every scene is still about power."
Power airs on Sundays at 9pm on Starz in the US, and is available on Netflix every Monday in the UK.
