Receiving an opportunity to go on yet another life-threatening mission, Carrie responds with an enthusiastic "Hell yes!" before the show's traditional cloak-and-dagger trappings take over the season 8 trailer.

Meanwhile, Danes previously hinted that Homeland's mortality might not be as black-and-white as we've been led to believe.
Discussing the 'final' season, the actress shared: "It's not unequivocally conclusive. We'll see. As I said, it's the kind of show that could continue going on indefinitely because it's a strange model.
"It's an unusual model. It can mutate in ways a lot of shows can't. It's totally uncertain."
Homeland will return to Showtime on February 9, 2020.
