We're just days away from the Arrowverse's massive 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover and fan excitement has reached a fever pitch.

Beginning on Sunday, December 8, the TV event will see characters from shows such as Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman and Black Lightening, as well as DC heroes past, team up to take on their biggest threat yet.

Hang on, a load of superheroes are teaming up to take on a huge threat? That sounds similar to a certain Marvel movie that came out earlier this year.

But while many comparisons have been made between Crisis and Avengers: Endgame, executive producer Marc Guggenheim is keen to keep the two separate, except when it comes to the story arc for two major characters.

"I'd say certainly for Barry and Oliver, there is an emotional denouement that is reminiscent of Endgame," he told Entertainment Weekly. "Endgame is an exclamation point. Crisis is a semi-colon."

Earlier this week the first full trailer for Crisis dropped revealing the death of some of your favourite characters.

And as if that wasn't enough, we've also been treated to a new mind-boggling Superman vs Superman image.

Crisis on Infinite Earths premieres on December 8 with the Supergirl episode, followed by Batwoman on December 9 and The Flash on December 10. Post-Christmas, the series will then conclude with Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow straight after on January 14.
