The creator of the Arrowverse has pretty much confirmed the return of a long lost character in the forthcoming 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover.
The TV event will air across several nights next week and see characters from shows such as Arrow, The Flash, Supergirl, Legends of Tomorrow, Batwoman and Black Lightening, as well as DC heroes past, team up to take on their biggest threat yet.
It seems our heroes will also be joined by a few familiar Arrowverse faces, as Arrow boss Marc Guggenheim has confirmed the return of at least one long lost character.
Replying to a tweet on Tuesday (December 3) which asked whether The Hawks, Vixen or The Ray could return for the crossover, Marc wrote: "One of the three."
Cryptic.

While fans will have to wait until next week to find out which of the heroes returns, the first storyline details for the 'Crisis on Infinite Earths' crossover have been revealed.
Guggenheim also said that the demands of filming 'Crisis on Earth-X' almost put he and other staff members off from shooting more crossover events.
"It killed all of us," he told Entertainment Weekly. "We were feeling the effects of it literally a year after."

From recent chatter, it seems Arrowverse fans can expect a few hero deaths to occur in the event.
Judging by the explosive trailer, it may even be more than that.
'Crisis on Infinite Earths' premieres on December 8 with the Supergirl episode, followed by Batwoman on December 9 and The Flash on December 10. Post-Christmas, the series will then conclude with Arrow and DC's Legends of Tomorrow straight after on January 14.
