Update 17/7/19: Those Game of Thrones fans hoping to get some answers at Comic-Con about the final season from the show's bosses are out of luck.
HBO is making some major line-up changes to the show's panel at the San Diego convention just two days before it is scheduled to take place on Friday (July 19).
Showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss were originally supposed to attend the panel along with 'The Long Night' director Miguel Sapochnik to potentially address the backlash to their final episodes, but they've been pulled from appearing.
The cast line-up has also been changed, with Nathalie Emmanuel (aka Missandei) and Iain Glen (Jorah) also cancelling – meaning they won't be able to offer their insight on Daenerys's turn to the dark side.
Still appearing in San Diego on Friday will be Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jaime Lannister), John Bradley (Samwell Tarly), Jacob Anderson (Grey Worm), Liam Cunningham (Davos Seaworth), Maisie Williams (Arya Stark), Isaac Hempstead Wright (Bran Stark) and Conleth Hill (Varys).
There has been no reason given for the Comic-Con line-up changes, but the move is somewhat surprising since Game of Thrones earned a record-breaking 32 Primetime Emmy Award nominations earlier this week.

Showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss will also take a seat on the panel, as will 'The Long Night' director Miguel Sapochnik.
Attendees will be lucky enough to catch this on Friday, July 19.
