Netflix's GLOW season 3 features "groundbreaking TV" and a likely "fan-favourite" episode according to star Kate Nash.
The latest trailer teased a first proper look at the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling's road trip to Las Vegas for a new live show.
Kate, who plays plucky Brit Rhonda Richardson (aka Britannica), has teased huge episodes during the gang's adventure in Sin City.
Speaking exclusively to Digital Spy ahead of her tour dates playing at Community and Standon Calling festivals, she called the new season "groundbreaking".
"There’s so much happening for lots of different characters. I think you get to see inside some of the characters that you haven’t before," she said. "I think there’s some really groundbreaking TV.
"There’s an episode we filmed that I think is my favourite episode of GLOW ever, it managed to translate what GLOW is to us, all the girls that film it."
What to Read Next
Kate continued: "I feel like it could be a fan-favourite, it’s like crazy, even to think about it, so much shit happens in this season.
"Lots of growth and transition for characters and we’re in Vegas, so it’s what you’d expect from Vegas and surprises I think that you weren’t expecting."
At the close of season 2, the GLOW ladies were axed by their network K-DTV, but weren't allowed to get picked up by another channel.
Their hopes were slammed (yep, intentional wrestling pun there) until strip club owner Ray offered them the chance to host a live show in Las Vegas instead.
Speaking about the new setting, Kate added: "It gives people opportunities to go through a lot in this mad scenario, they’re doing their live shows now in Vegas. So what does that do to them? What does that do to the girls? Who survives? Who’s struggling?"
Then of course, there's Rhonda's own plot with Sebastian 'Bash' Howard (Chris Lowell), which saw Rhonda and him marry to prevent her being deported.
All of this is despite Bash's hiding his own sexuality from the rest of the group, after his Butler – and potential love interest – died from an AIDs-realted illness in season 2.
Speaking to Digital Spy last year, Kate said: "It be will be interesting to see what happens when she finds out about Bash's sexuality.
"His butler, his best friend, died of AIDS, it's a very sensitive subject that I think he hasn't really acknowledged."
Elsewhere this season, Geena Davis is set to join the cast as a hotel and casino owner, Sandy Devereaux St. Clair, which is simply an incredible name.
GLOW returns to Netflix on August 9.
Kate Nash is set to play Community Festival in London on Sunday, June 30 and Standon Calling in Hertfordshire on Saturday, July 27.
