NBC has renewed its time-hopping drama This Is Us for not one, not two, but three more seasons!
The network announced the news on Sunday (May 12) that the show will return for its fourth season this autumn, then followed by two further seasons.
The show's producers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger told Deadline earlier this year that there's a six-season plan for the series, although the network haven't ruled out the possibility of the show continuing after that.
Opening up about his hopes for the show's eventual conclusion, Aptaker said: "I would hope that it's elegant. That's what we're going for. I would hope that when we reach our ending, people think it's a really satisfying end place, that makes sense, and it feels like they've watched something that is a complete piece of work, because that's really how we're trying to plan it.
"We've had this end in mind for a long time, so we're able to plan for it, and try to make it feel like it's a whole, as opposed to a series that's going to go endlessly."
Fans will be hoping that season four sheds some light on the fate of Rebecca (Mandy Moore), after the season three finale teased that her future self may be suffering from dementia or Alzheimer's.
