Kit Harington might be the star of one of the biggest TV shows ever, but life on the Game of Thrones set wasn't always entirely glamorous.
Harington told Digital Spy and other press that he and the other actors playing sworn members of the Night's Watch were always "taking the piss out of each other, constantly" while filming.

"No-one showed each other too much respect – that's the great thing that we had, everyone undercut each other the whole time, in the nicest way, in the most British way!" he said.
The Night's Watch lads would often indulge in pranks and practical jokes – though one trick that Harington tried to pull on co-star Ben Crompton allegedly backfired...
"Kit hid in my wardrobe, [because] I'd hidden in his and jumped out," explained Crompton, who plays 'Dolorous' Edd. "It was a night shoot, we were very bored.
"He hid in it, expecting me to come back to my trailer, and then Mark Stanley [who played Grenn] went, 'Kit's hiding in your wardrobe' – and then they called lunch, so we just went for lunch and left Kit in there, just laughing to himself."

Crompton claims that Harington "got a bit claustrophobic" and that his experience only got worse the longer he hid. "At one point, he farted, but he thought, 'I've committed to it now' – I don't think I've told everyone that before!"
Game of Thrones' season-eight premiere, 'Winterfell', incorporated a surprising number of on-screen laughs, what with Jon Snow's awkward dragon-riding and Edd mistaking Tormund (Kristofer Hivju) for a White Walker.
Crompton revealed that while there's "room for some of that humour" this season, "this one hits the ground running, really. The six episodes are almost like one massive arc."
He also promised we'd see more of Edd in the episodes to come. "You'll see more of me than you did in season seven, where I basically opened a door! There is more than that, that's all I can say."
