In what might be the most hype start to a new television show ever, Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists opens with a single cello version of Lady Gaga’s 'Poker Face'.
The song itself is perfect for a series about keeping secrets that literally has "liars" in the title, but we still can’t get over it.
The Pretty Little Liars spin-off, which will star OGs Janel Parrish and Sasha Pieterse as Mona Vanderwaal and Alison DiLaurentis, is basically PLL but in college.
There’s a new group of conspirators who know something about a murder, and it seems like it’s up to Alison and Mona (now fancy adults who work at Beacon Heights University) to unravel the truth.

But right now can we please focus on this new video Freeform just dropped? We’ve got a voiceover from Disney’s Descendants star Sofia Carson – playing Ava, a young fashion designer – describing BHU as a place where "excellence is not an option, it’s a requirement".

That’s obviously true because as she speaks, Gaga is being played on the cello, and it’s dramatic AF.
So dramatic, in fact, that it makes the cellist, Dylan (Eli Brown), bleed. We see him wipe his blood on his tablet when he goes to flip the page. That’s some Whiplash-level shit.
Honestly, we can’t wait to meet him and the rest of these new liars. Until then, we're going to listen to this at least once a day.
Pretty Little Liars: The Perfectionists premieres on Wednesday, March 20 on Freeform in the US.
