ABC is "interested" in the idea of rebooting Lost.
At the TCA press tour on Tuesday (February 5), ABC programming chief Karey Burke was asked if a reboot of the series is on the way.
Burke replied: "I would like that very much. That is a reboot I would be interested in seeing."

That said, it was confirmed at the TCA that a reboot is not currently in the works – which will be good news for Evangeline Lilly.
Last year, the Ant-Man and the Wasp star has admitted she's not really up for rebooting Lost, despite persistent rumours.

"There's a rumor every year that they are going to reboot Lost," Evangeline, who played Kate Austen on the show, told Entertainment Weekly.
"The thing about reboots and remakes is that I don't like them in general, period.
"I want people to leave Star Wars alone! I did love Rogue One, as an aside. But for the most part, I don't usually love them. I feel like it's just tainting something that's precious.
"I've said I don't want to do things in the past and I've done them – you know, never say never – but sitting where I am today, my assumption is no."
Lilly previously hit out at an unidentified "misogynistic" former co-worker on Lost, who she accused of behaving in a way that caused her an on-set injury.
