The popular Disney Channel early 2000's show Lizzie McGuire could possibly be set for a revival.
Starring Hilary Duff in her breakout role, the sitcom ran from 2001 to 2004 and left in its wake some truly devastated fans when it ended after two seasons and 65 episodes.
But dry those tears, as 14 years after it left our screens, it's possible that it could be coming back.

Speaking to ET Online recently, Hilary offered an update on a surprise comeback.
"There's been some conversations," she teased, "It's definitely not a go. I don't want to get everyone wild talking about it."

The 31-year-old has really fond memories of the character, as she elaborated: "I mean I love her so much. I think she was so important to girls at an important time in their life. If she could be important to them again at this age, I think that would be amazing."
She's also touched on who she believes Lizzie would be in today's world, noting, "There's been lots of conversations about that. I don't think she's a mom yet, but she might be getting there soon."
Though she continued to warn against getting any hopes up on a revival, the actress did add: "It's fun. I feel excited. It could be a possibility or it could be nothing, so we'll see".
Hilary first spoke of a potential revival back in 2017, although she admitted at the time that she actually doesn't miss playing Lizzie. She also opened up about a reboot in 2014.
Whether or not this project ever materialises, we're sure there's a whole generation of people out there bursting with anticipation now.
