1Sir Bradley Wiggins
Karwai Tang/WireImage//Getty ImagesWho? Former Olympic cyclist
What you need to know: Sir Bradley, who was knighted in 2013, is Team GB's most decorated Olympian. He's only just announced his retirement but apparently couldn't wait to get competing again – we think he'll be hard to beat.
2Jade Jones MBE
WPA Pool//Getty ImagesWho? Olympic taekwondo medallist
What you need to know: Jade won gold medals at the 2012 and the 2016 Olympics so she's not to be messed with. Her nickname is The Headhunter, which is frankly a little bit terrifying – so expect her to be a force to be reckoned with when it comes to events like ski cross.

3Gareth Thomas
Alex Huckle/GC ImagesWho? Retired professional rugby player
What you need to know: Gareth, who became the first openly gay professional rugby union player when he came out in 2009, has a history of reality telly: he's been on Celebrity Big Brother, Dancing on Ice and Get Your Act Together. Could that give him an advantage?
4Kadeena Cox MBE
Friedemann Vogel//Getty ImagesWho? Paralympic cyclist and sprinter
What you need to know: Not content with being great in just one discipline, Kadeena became the first British Paralympian since 1984 to win golds in multiple sports last year. We wouldn't be surprised if after The Jump she ended up representing us at the Winter Paralympics too, to be honest.

5Jason Robinson OBE
Mike Marsland/WireImageWho? Another former rugby player
What you need to know: Jason is nicknamed "Billy Whizz" after that speedy character from The Beano because he's so fast on his feet – will he be just as swift on the slopes?
6Vogue Williams
Mark Robert Milan/GC Images//Getty ImagesWho? Model and TV presenter
What you need to know: Vogue's ex-husband Brian McFadden took part in The Jump last year, so we wonder if he's given her any tips. We certainly know Vogue isn't to be underestimated – she won the first series of Bear Grylls: Mission Survive, beating athletes Kelly Holmes and Mike Tindall. So don't rule her out, she's a tough one.

7Robbie Fowler
Ragnar Singsaas//Getty ImagesWho? Former professional footballer and manager
What you need to know: Yet another sports star on the list – and with Robbie being the sixth-highest goal scorer in the Premier League's history, we're guessing he's going to be a big competitor. Watch your backs, celebs.
8Lydia Bright
ITVWho? TOWIE star
What you need to know: Like Vogue, Lydia might have been able to get some tips on The Jump from her on-off-who-knows ex-boyfriend Arg (and from Joey Essex, who won the whole thing a couple of years ago). Again, she's a tough cookie – she took part in The Celebrity Island with Bear Grylls and survived a fish hook through the finger, so The Jump is probably kids' play to her.

9Spencer Matthews
ITVWho? Former Made in Chelsea star
What you need to know: Despite being a Chelsea-ite, Spenny's apparently never skied before (probably too busy chasing the chalet girls and indulging in a little après ski). He got ditched from I'm a Celebrity after admitting to taking steroids, so this is his chance to win over the public again.
10Josie Gibson
Keith Hewitt/GC Images//Getty ImagesWho? Former Big Brother winner
What you need to know: Josie is the unlucky celebrity who's already been pictured falling over during training... a lot. Luckily she seemed to be doing it all with a smile on her face so let's hope she stays safe out there.

11Mark Dolan
Rex//Channel 4Who? Comedian
What you need to know: You'd think that Mark would be at an advantage on The Jump having previously hosted Balls of Steel, but he's admitted he's "absolutely bloody terrified". Fair.
12Emma Parker-Bowles
Paul Gilham//Getty ImagesWho? TV presenter and journalist
What you need to know: Yep, that surname is no coincidence – Emma is only Camilla's niece. She's said she has "the ability of a mountain goat" and calls herself an "adrenaline junkie", so basically she's chosen the best possible show for her.

13Louis Smith
Mike Marsland/WireImage//Getty ImagesWho? Olympic gymnast
What you need to know: Louis was rumoured for last year's I'm a Celebrity... but it all went wrong when he was caught in a video apparently mocking Muslims. So this is his chance to redeem himself in the public's eyes, and with his gymnastic skills, athlete's competitiveness and a Strictly Come Dancing win in his back pocket, we wouldn't rule him out.
14Caprice
David M. Benett/Getty Images for Gabrielle's GalaWho? Supermodel
What you need to know: Caprice is another one who is no stranger to reality TV: she's done Celebrity Big Brother, Celebrity Come Dine With Me and the like. Perhaps most importantly, she's also done Splash! – another of those dangerous reality shows. So hopefully that's prepared her for what's to come.
