Way back in 2008, you might remember baby-faced 16-year-old Eoghan Quigg came third behind JLS and Alexandra Burke in the X Factor final.

A year later he penned his debut album after signing to label RCA records, but slipped into obscurity when it didn't chart highly. Nine years later, he's now 26 and looks TOTALLY DIFFERENT.

He's ditched the blonde highlights and eyebrow piercing in favour of a full tattoo sleeve – and although he was playing football for Northern Ireland's championship two football team Coagh United for a while, it now looks like he's getting back into music.

He's a total beefcake, too, which is nice.

Four years ago he was announced as one of the five acts that would compete to represent Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest with the track 'The Movie Song', but only came in at second place.

So what exactly are the chances he'll get invited back for a guest appearance on The X Factor this year, then? None? OK then.

The X Factor airs on ITV.
