This week's Celebrity Hunted yielded some intricate moves from the reality show's participants, but it was Johnny Mercer and Kay Burley's plight that viewers seemed most impressed by.
As the fugitive pair appeared to be cornered by the ruthless team of hunters, Johnny and Kay arranged for a nine-vehicle convoy (with the celebs holed up in one of them) to drive out of their location and create a massive distraction so they could get away.
While the hunters attempted to use vehicle telematics (basically a tracker that monitors the location and movements of a vehicle or fleet of vehicles) to find out which car, exactly, was holding Johnny and Kay, a solid group of viewers thought that this was a brilliant escape plan and even compared it to one of the iconic scenes in The Italian Job.
Not bad for a couple of amateur fugitives. Maybe this means that the inevitable next remake of The Italian Job has already found its stars?
Meanwhile, Trigger Happy TV star Dom Joly became the first celebrity to get rumbled whilst holing up on a farm, although his partner Vicky Pattison managed to hide in a barn and eventually run off – tasting sweet freedom in the process.
In a rather amusing chase scene, Dom told one of the hunters to "F**k off!" whilst she told him to stop running.
