Roxanne Pallett is returning to Celebrity Big Brother for an interview with Emma Willis tonight (September 3).

Last week, viewers watched as Roxanne claimed that Ryan had physically struck her during a playfight, which led to Ryan getting a formal warning from Big Brother. Ryan has insisted that his intentions were not malicious.

Following an interview with Jeremy Vine on his Channel 5 show where she apologised to Ryan and said she "really got it wrong", Roxanne is also due to appear on Monday's edition of Celebrity Big Brother, which features an eviction.

Roxanne – who decided to quit Celebrity Big Brother late on Friday night (August 31) – told Jeremy Vine: "At the time it hurt, but when I look back on that footage – as soon as I left the house, it was the first thing I did – I got it wrong. I really got it wrong.

"After it happened, I just felt like, I don't know how to explain it – my mind ran away from me. I am a sensitive person, only my family and friends can vouch for that. And everything in that house becomes so heightened – a look, a comment, an action. Your insecurities are heightened, your sensitivity.

"All I can say, the only thing I can explain it with, is in the moment, it felt worse than it was. I can't prove a feeling. I can't show you a feeling."

Roxanne continued that she also regretted using the word "deliberately" when describing Ryan's actions, and apologised to him on air.

"I massively apologise to not just Ryan but his family, his friends, his fans, every single person who watched that and completely justifiably saw an overreaction to what wasn't a malicious act in that moment," she said.

Meanwhile the host of Big Brother's spin-off show Bit on the Side, Rylan Clark-Neal, has suggested that the housemates ought to be shown the footage of the incident to clarify things.

Ryan was seen getting upset over the allegation during Saturday's (September 1) episode as the housemates were left unsure of what to believe, and viewers soon shared their overwhelming support for the former Coronation Street star on social media.

Ryan has also expressed his feelings about what happened to his housemates, saying that he will "never forget" Roxanne's actions in scenes aired during Sunday's (September 2) instalment of CBB.

"I don't think it's acceptable behaviour to treat your housemates the way she did," he said.

"You know at the same time it's done now, it's time to move on. It's the next chapter. I'll never forget what she's done to me, I'll never, ever understand it, but I want to move forward... enjoy the rest of my time in here with everyone else."
