The current series of Celebrity Big Brother is themed around the 'Eye of the Storm', featuring a line-up of housemates who have been at the centre of media frenzies for various reasons.
For Ben Jardine, it was for cheating on his wife Steph, who he had met on the TV show Married at First Sight and became the viewers' favourite couple in the process.
He has admitted publicly to cheating while on the show, becoming labelled a 'love rat' in the process, and now Steph has broken her silence on Instagram (via The Mirror) to address how she felt upon learning of his infidelity.
She said: "He was announcing (he was divorcing me) on the radio. He was laughing at me.
"Ben called me later that night and we talked for an hour. I asked why he had lied to me about the cheating, but he swore on his mother's life to me that he had never even kissed another girl since the day we were matched.
"I told him I had listened to it and heard the words come out of his mouth that he had had a 'kiss and a cuddle' which is how he refers to sex. I asked how he could say that if it wasn't true and he replied, 'Well, it's just what you say isn't it'."

She added that he told her he wanted to start a family with her, but she been told by one of his friends that he got the other girl pregnant around the same time.
"The bottom fell out of my world," she continued. "I immediately went into hiding to avoid press so I spent the next month living in hotels.
"After a while anger set in and I just wanted to tell the world what really happened, but I knew that if I did, I would just be bolstering him, and he was already standing on my shoulders trying to reach for fame."
