The Crystal Maze once again put together an odd mix of celebrities on tonight's episode (June 15).

Joining host Richard Ayoade was former footballer Dennis Wise, TV personality Katie Price, Made in Chelsea star Binky Felstead, Capital DJ Roman Kemp, and, erm, maraca shaker Bez.

Perhaps unsurprisingly, they were terrible, mustering a measly two crystals from the maze. Perhaps even less surprising, Katie Price and Bez were the two main sources of frustration for viewers as they displayed immense ineptitude throughout the course of the show.

In Katie's first task, she had to solve a bunch of simple riddles by turning a set of wheels. The answer to one of the questions was 8 Out of 10 Cats – a show Katie herself has appeared on – but she still struggled to name it. Although she did manage to win a crystal in her second challenge.

Later on, Bez was faced with the impossible challenge of sorting different coloured balls into separate tubes, as well as taking on a picture-based riddle. He failed spectacularly at both.

Even the team captain Dennis Wise failed to impress, instantly messing up his first challenge and getting locked in.

But is this the worst Crystal Maze team ever? The viewers seem to think so.

With just two crystals, the group had only ten seconds in the Crystal Maze Dome. In that time, they managed to collect a pathetic two golden tokens. Luckily, Channel 4 donated £5,000 to Stand Up for Cancer anyway, but there was no excusing the team's overall shambolic performance.

The Crystal Maze is back on Channel 4 next Friday (June 22) at 9pm.
