Ferne McCann may be famous because of her reality TV career.
But during an exclusive chat with Digital Spy, the star revealed that she once tried to pursue her dreams of becoming a singer.
Long before her TOWIE days, the Essex girl admitted that she previously went to audition for The X Factor in the hope of impressing Simon Cowell.
Unfortunately though, all didn't quite go to plan...
"I auditioned for The X Factor years ago but I never got through," she told us. "I didn't even get to the stage where I got to meet Simon. I sang that song 'Fever' – but I didn't get through."
When asked how she'd rate herself as a singer, Ferne modestly played down her abilities, saying: "I'm alright, I can hold a tune."

However, theatre bosses clearly feel more confident in her talent, as she was cast as Myrtle Wilson in a London fringe theatre production of Gatsby in 2016.
Reflecting on her time on stage, Ferne explained that she loved the experience and would be keen to trade in reality TV gigs for a more permanent role on stage.
"I didn't go to stage school but I love new challenges and opportunities," she continued. "I always wanted to be on the stage, even before I had my daughter Sunday. I always wanted to be in a West End musical – no dream is too big!"
But by the looks of things, we may have a lengthy wait before we see Ferne on stage again.
At the moment, most of her time is taken up by her little girl Sunday, who she gave birth to in November. In addition to becoming a full-time parent, she has her new reality show First Time Mum out, she's launching a new womenswear collection with MissPap as well as her own fashion business, and she also has a beauty range.
"I have never been so busy," added Ferne. "I thought work was going to slow down [after having Sunday] but no, I've never been so busy."
